Storytellers’ Club on the Popeye

Storytellers-Club-2014 v3

Direct from London, Wit Large is proud to present Sarah Bennetto’s cult show Storytellers’ Club, in a unique and beautiful Adelaide Fringe debut.

Bring wine, meet at Elder Park rotunda and climb aboard Adelaide’s iconic Popeye ferry (bedecked with fairy lights) for a magical night of tales that will blow your mind, split your sides and break your heart.

Hosted by Captain Sarah Bennetto, featuring a changing line-up of your favourite comedians from all over the Fringe, including First Mate and Adelaide’s own, Fringe favourite Dave Bloustien.

The line-up changes every night, but confirmed storytellers include James Dowdeswell (Extras), Glenn Wool (Canada), Tiffany Stevenson (UK), Chris Taylor (The Chaser), Gordon Southern (UK), Greg Fleet and Adelaide’s own Mickey D.

Tickets are available from the Fringe website here: http://www.adelaidefringe.com.au/fringetix/storytellers-club-on-the-popeye/05cddbcc-e092-4010-a39c-c788b14ae526

  1. Al says:

How much wine can we bring, exactly?

  2. As much as you can carry without violating our responsible drinking license.

  3. Roberto Cardone says:

How many people can fit on the boat for the show

  4. Hi Roberto, there are 60 seats on the boat. If you buy tickets via the FringeTix link (above), nights will be listed as ‘sold out’ as they fill up. We can possibly fit a few more in (it’s not fixed seating), so if you want to buy an extra ticket to a sold out night let us know (via the contact page) and we’ll see what we can do.

  7. Gen says:
