Dave Bloustien is an award-winning comedy writer, comedian, improvisor and producer from Adelaide (now based in Sydney). He has written for top-rating TV comedy shows, performed for thousands of people at a time (often without a script), produced and hosted sell-out live comedy events and created comedic campaigns for political and commercial clients.
As part of the writing team on The Glass House and Good News Week, Dave won 5 AWGIE awards for writing comedy and light entertainment. He’s told jokes on The Comedy Channel, performed regularly at Paul Provenza’s Set List all over Australia, won the Theatresports Grand Final in Sydney and was nominated for 2011 Time Out Sydney Comedian of the Year.
Dave is also the creator and host of Wit Large and a regular performer at Sydney’s premier impro night Full Body Contact No Love Tennis.
Dave currently writes for Back Seat Drivers on ABC2 and is available for events and conferences as a solo performer, MC or corporate trainer.
